“ The people here are exceedingly friendly. For 30, you get 100 pounds of food. So some of it might not be what you want, pay it forward and give it away. Some of the meat is expired, so freeze it and it's fine. I also bought six boxes of cereal for 5. If you are on a tight budget, this place is a godsend. It makes me mad to see people complaining on here. Expired meat can be frozen and it's usable as long as it's not green. Even if everything else is expired or molding, the meat you get here is well worth the cost. We added up the prices listed on the meat last visit. It was 86 dollars worth of meat. ”
“ Family's are having hard times now with all the high costs for everything, especially with food now. This place is great. Can get 100 pounds of food for 35.00. No one there judges you or looks down on you. They are just there to help anyone in need. ”

“ This place is truly a miracle for people needing to feed their families. I was able to get an incredible amount of food for 35 100 lb of food we got meat, we got fruits and vegetables, we got bread and pastries, we got dairy we got a lot ... ”
“ Just went today right before closing; was running in hoping they were open, knowing it was inconvenient for them. My apologies. Everyone there were extremely helpful, cordial, and didn't seem affected by the time. They boxed the edible nothing expired food and packed it in the vehicle. This was my fourth time ,I have picked up food there and everyone in the house loves the conventional food (ready made) just as much as the surprises each box has with foods otherwise wouldn't necessarily have been purchased at the store; lack of knowledge or otherwise unwilling to try. All of these things have brought us up to try different foods. Mind you that we know enjoy and are quite surprised on how those boxed do make complete meals and are extremely helpful. Reminds us to be thankful for places and organizations that are able to bring about a fully balanced package of food at a great price. Definitely not something that would be regretted. Once again God bless Pomona Valley Food Bank...... One thankful customer..... ”

“ This place is a god send! For the first time ever I ran into financial troubles and had no way of getting food and after driving here an hour on veterans day and worrying that it might be closed or reject me for living in a different county but I was pleasantly surprised when they told me they would give me their family pack cost free this one time. The regular price is 25 for the family pack. Everyone was very kind and friendly and the man who owns the place is so generous and such a family man that you cant help but feel welcome and like a part of his family. But the worst part was all of the drinks, milk, yogurt, cheese, meat, fruit and some of the vegetables were rotten, sour and very expired and I absolutely hate throwing food away so it was very upsetting for me. So before throwing it away I drove to the nearby bridge where a lot of homeless people live and I asked them if they wanted it first but they did not. But the bread and sweets still had some shelf life. They offer a very good variety of food and all in all it helped us out a lot in our time of need and I still feel very lucky to have found them and I will return, pay my 25 and get their family pack again. This time I am going to go through everything and make sure none of it is expired so it does not go to waste. I recommend this place highly. For 25 you get 100 worth of food. Good bless them and their program. May they be around for a long time. ”
“ When I was at my lowest because of my health God provides helped me immensely. I could barely walk and I couldn't work when I found them. When I went through their door the manager stopped his workers and had them pray over me. I had just come from having grueling tests done and no sympathy for the pain so when someone treats me humanly it was a welcomed feeling. I was then provided with wonderful food. His workers put everything in my car and I was able to breathe a little easier knowing I had food. Thank you and God. ”
